Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was a relieved man at Stamford Bridge this weekend at his side secured a controversial 96th minute win over Leeds.
The Blues had looked set for another frustrating draw in the Premier League before Jorginho stepped up to steer them back on the winning track.
Penalties were the decisive factor in West London and Raphinha got the ball rolling for Leeds after Dan James collided with Marcos Alonso.
But with Chelsea desperately looking to avoid a growing slide in form, they bounced back before the break, as Mason Mount got across his man to crash home Alonso’s cross.
And with the game in the balance after the break, luck and VAR were on Chelsea’s side in the final 30.
Jorginho curled them in front form the spot after Raphinha scythed down Antonio Rudiger before Joe Gelhardt poked Leeds back level with his first Premier League goal.
But referee Chris Kavanagh incurred the wrath of the travelling fans as Rudiger went down under minimum contact from Mateusz Klich in the box and Jorginho steeled himself to clinch all three points.
