Leicester City have secured a timely first Premier League win since October as they edged out a 4-2 win over Watford.
Leicester looked back to their free flowing best at the King Power as Jamie Vardy’s brace powered them on to three points in this one against Watford.
Claudio Ranieri’s warm welcome lasted less than five minutes as James Maddison pounced on a Watford defensive error to smash Leicester 1-0 in front.
However, despite being second best early on, Watford were handed a lifeline from the penalty spot as Josh King confidently tucked home from 12 yards after Emmanuel Dennis was clipped by Wilf Ndidi inside the box.
But it was to be Vardy’s intervention before the break which tipped it for Leicester as the former England international prodded a clever finish past Daniel Bachmann before flicking home a brilliant header from
Dennis pounced on Timothy Castagne’s error to make a battle of it after the break but Ademola Lookman neat finish wrapped it up for Leicester late on.
