Jamie Vardy’s one man battle with Arsenal has continued as his late goal secured a 1-0 Leicester win at the Emirates Stadium.

The former England international has a fantastic record against the Gunners and his 80th minute header made it ten goals against Mikel Arteta’s side.

The hosts dominated the early stages in North London as Alexandre Lacazette and Bukayo Saka both forced saves from Kasper Schmeichel.

Arsenal struggled to maintain that rhythm after the break as Leicester began to grow into the game in the second half.

With Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang unable to make any inroads on Leicester, Arsenal best chance fell to Hector Bellerin.

The Spaniard did brilliantly to keep his rising effort on target but Schmeichel was once equal to it.

And with Arsenal unable to make the most of their chances, Vardy was more than happy to hand them familiar lesson.

Youri Tielemens’ ball released Cengiz Under and the Turkish international lofted ball found Vardy lurking at the back post and the Foxes talisman gleefully bulleted a header home.
