Leicester City midfielder James Maddison has signed a new 4-year contract at the King Power Stadium.
The 23-year-old has been missing for the Foxes for the past few weeks as he continues to recover from minor hip surgery.
Regardless, Maddison has been rewarded with fresh terms at Leicester in a deal which keeps him at the club until the summer of 2024.
Tying a talented player like Maddison to a new contract will be a big boost for manager Brendan Rodgers, who may see some of his squad poached after their impressive campaign.
The Foxes narrowly missed out on a top 4 spot, finishing 5th – but will compete in the Europa League next season.
Along with Maddison, the likes of Ben Chilwell, Caglar Soyuncu and Wilfred Ndidi are all attracting interest.
