Tottenham have ended a three game Premier League losing streak as old buddies Harry Kane and Son Heung-min combined to seal a 2-0 win over West Brom.
Spurs have struggled without the talismanic Kane in recent weeks but the England star burst back on the scene as the Baggies were swept aside.
Mourinho’s side were on top from the start in North London as Erik Lamela swung a shot over the bar and Kane clattered wide.
Spurs continued to press the visitors before the break as Serge Aurier tested Sam Johnstone before Mbaye Diagne brought the best from Hugo Lloris.
But Tottenham’s frustration only lasted eight minutes into the second half as Kane latched on Pierre Hojbjerg’s pass to sweep past Johnstone.
And that strike opened the flood gates for Spurs as the ever-reliable Son made it 2-0 on the hour.
Kane’s flick released Lucas Moura in midfield and the Brazilian superbly raced on and on to slip in the
South Korean to smash home.
Baggies midfielder Okay Yokuslu almost set up a tense finale, as his close range header flew wide, but in the end it was all about Kane and Son getting the band back together.
