Premier League draw specialists Fulham have picked a ninth stalemate of the season as they held West Ham to a goal less draw at Craven Cottage.
The result means Fulham are now eight points adrift inside the drop zone as the Hammers stay in fifth.
On a night of very few chances in the capital it was David Moyes’ side who created the better chances after the break as Fulham looked way off the pace.
Stand in captain Declan Rice’s deflected strike forced Alphonse Areola into action on the half hour mark before fantasy football hero Tomas Soucek headed over just after.
With Fulham setting their stall out to dig in after the restart, the onus was back on the Hammers to break them down.
Rice did almost carve out an opening the visitors as Vladimir Coufal headed his cross against the post before Aleksandr Mitrovic lashed Fulham’s best chance wide.
And with no way for Moyes and his players through in closing stages their frustration was completed in added time as Soucek was sent off for an elbow on Mitrovic.
