Nothing could separate West Brom and Fulham in the battle at bottom of the Premier League as Scott Parker’s side secured a 2-2 draw in the West Midlands.
Sam Allardyce’s start to life with the Baggies is yet to yield a home win and this result does little to ease either side’s relegation woes.
It was the visitors that took up the early initiative in this one as Bobby De Cordova-Reid calmly fired home Aleksandar Mitrovic’s pass.
Parker’s side should have made it two before the break with Reid firing off the post and Ademola Lookman testing Sam Johnstone.
But with Fulham unable to make the dominance count, the Baggies levelled things up after the break, as Kyle Bartley volleyed home.
And the tie was to tip completely in West Brom’s favour on the hour as Matheus Pereira poked home Mbaye Diagne’s cross.
But Fulham have showed their resilience in recent weeks and substitute Ivan Cavaleiro stooped to nod home Harrison Reed’s cross for a deserved late equaliser.
