Bookmakers slash the odds on Frank to be the next Norwich Manager

Reports are suggesting that Frank Lampard is set to be the next Norwich manager.

The Canaries have interviewed the former Chelsea boss as they look to appoint a successor to Daniel Farke. If reports are true, this would be his third role in management, having taken Derby County to a championship playoff final, then taking Chelsea to an F.A. Cup final and qualifying for Europe, despite operating under a transfer ban.

The former England international left Chelsea in January but during his time was responsible for establishing young talent as first-team regulars. They included Mason Mount, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and a certain Billy Gilmour – who is currently at Carrow Road on loan from Chelsea.

It’s believed that the club intends to announce their next head coach as early as this weekend, in time for the squad returning after the international break.

Lampard or not whoever is appointed faces a tough challenge. They will take charge of a side which currently sits bottom of the Premier League with just five points.
