Reports claim that Leicester are keen on Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney, should Ben Chilwell leave the King Power Stadium this summer.
Chilwell’s future has been the subject of speculation, with both Chelsea and Manchester City said to be interested in the full back.
If the England man departs, Brendan Rodgers has identified Gunners left back Kieran Tierney as the perfect replacement, according to the Transfer Window Podcast.
Tierney has had a tough time with injury since he joined Arsenal from Celtic last summer.
The 22-year-old has turned out just 5 times in the Premier League for Mikel Arteta’s side since his £25m switch to North London.
Rodgers has a good relationship with Tierney, having managed him during his time at Celtic, and would be keen to reunite with the player at Leicester should Chilwell move on.
