Former Everton boss Ronald Koeman is set to named as the new manager of Barcelona, following the sacking of Quique Setien.

The Catlans were blown away by Bayern Munich in the Champions League last weekend, with Setien taking the fall for his players.

Koeman was reportedly approached by club chiefs just hours after the game, despite being linked with ex Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Koeman will join up with his new side in the coming days, with his contract as the Netherlands head coach containing a clause allowing him to leave for Barcelona.
