Arsenal have booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals, thanks to a dramatic 2-1 win at Sheffield United.

Nicolas Pepe’s first half penalty set the Gunners on their way, before a late late winner from Dani Ceballos cancelled out David McGoldrick’s equaliser.

The Blades looked hungry for a last four spot right from word go in this one, as John Lundstrum saw his early header ruled out for offside by VAR.

Arsenal weathered the early storm, and Pepe confidently tucked home from the spot Chris Basham fouled Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners looked to push their advantage before the break, as Dean Henderson was at full stretch to deny Lacazette.

But Chris Wilder’s side showed their guts after the break, and despite another goal being ruled by VAR, McGoldrick edged them level with three minutes to go.

Jack Robinson’s long throw caused chaos in the Arsenal box, and McGoldrick reacted quickest to volley past Emiliano Martinez.

However, just as the game looked destined for extra time, Arsenal conjured up one final attack.

Substitute Eddie Nketiah fed in Pepe inside the box, but he was unable to get a shot off, as Ceballos raced onto the loose ball to fire home the winner.
