Newcastle boss Steve Bruce has confirmed he will play his strongest side in their FA Cup quarter final clash with Manchester City this weekend.
Bruce stated in midweek he would be going all out to try and secure the Magpies a first major trophy since 1955.
Sean and Matty Longstaff are expected to be fit in time, but Matt Ritchie and Isaac Hayden are both struggling with injuries.
If do they miss out, Bruce will likely turn to Jonjo Shelvey and Dwight Gayle, with Nabil Bentaleb suspended for the cup.
City’s midweek defeat to Chelsea confirmed Liverpool’s title win, and Guardiola will tinker with his team once again at St. James’ Park.
Brazilian star Fernandinho is suspended for Pep, but John Stones and Phil Foden should be fit in time to play.
And with Sergio Aguero ruled out for the season, Gabriel Jesus will come in to lead the line, alongside Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling.
