Everton got themselves back to winning ways in Premier League action this weekend as Rafa Benitez’s side sealed a 2-0 over Norwich.

Goals from Andros Townsend and Abdoulaye Doucoure wrapped a routine afternoon for Everton but Daniel Farke’s Norwich side now make it no wins from six so far this season.

The hosts looked to boss this tie from the off on Merseyside with Salomon Rondon inches away from his first Everton goal before Townsend tucked home from the penalty spot.

The Canaries did look to wrestle themselves back into after the break as Ben Gibson nodded wide.

But in truth, Everton looked in full control late on as Doucoure stepped on to Demarai Gray’s pass to fire past Tim Krul.

Full Time from Goodison Park it’s Everton 2-0 Norwich City
