Everton have confirmed highly rated teenager Anthony Gordon has agreed a new five-year contract at the club.

Gordon made his Premier League debut for the Toffees mid-way through last season, before playing a regular role in the end of season run in.

Carlo Ancelotti opted to throw the 19-year old into the first eleven following the restarted campaign back in June, with his senior stars consistently under performing.

Despite strong reports linking the Blues with Real Madrid star James Rodriguez ahead of the new season, a new deal for Gordon means Ancelotti has big plans for him in the coming months.
