Everton and Tottenham both missed the chance to push their case for a European spot this season as they played out a 2-2 draw on Merseyside.
Harry Kane and Gylfi Sigurdsson both netted twice on the night but both sides remain outside the Europa League places.
Both sides had chances in scrappy opening before Kane latched onto a missed header from Michael Keane to lash the breakthrough.
But credit to Everton they refused to dip before the break as Sigurdsson deservedly hauled them level from the spot as Sergio Reguilon bundled over James Rodriguez.
Spurs did look to step it up a gear after break with Jordan Pickford called into action to deny Son Heung-min and Toby Alderweireld.
But with the visitors unable to edge ahead, Carlo Ancelotti’s side took full advantage as Sigurdsson buried Seamus Coleman’s cross.
However, despite their frustrations after the restart, Spurs always have a chance when Kane’s on the pitch.
And the England star pounced on another Keane’s mistake to snatch a point.
Full Time from Goodison Park it’s Everton 2 Tottenham 2
