Crystal Palace have got themselves back on the winning trail thanks to a 1-0 win over Wolves.

The Eagles have won just once in Premier League action in 2021 but Eberechi Eze’s second half strike has dumped more misery on Nuno Santo.

Neither side were able to create anything resembling a chance in a poor opening 45, with both keepers taking the weekend off.

That limpness in front of goal continued again after the break with Willian Jose’s poor effort barely testing Vicente Guaita.

But just as he has done a few times already this season the explosiveness of Eze suddenly sparked Palace into life as he lashed home Jordan Ayew’s pass.

That rocket did open things up at both ends in the closing stages as Pedro Neto and Jose tested Guaita and Wilf Zaha clipped one off the bar.

But despite throwing everything at in the last 10, Wolves were unable to scrap out a point.

Full Time from Selhurst Park it’s Crystal Palace 1 Wolves 0
