Frank Lampard’s Chelsea are into the FA Cup final as a horror show from David De Gea helped them to a 3-1 win over Manchester United.

Two mistakes from the Spanish keeper proved to be the difference between the sides as a ruthless second half showing from Chelsea sealed their final place.

The Blues were the brighter side right from the off at Wembley, as Marcos Alonso headed wide and Mason Mount tested De Gea.

But at the end of 11 minutes of first half added time, Olivier Giroud got in front of Harry Maguire and the Frenchman poked home.

And if De Gea was only partially at fault for Chelsea’s opener, he gifted them a second just after the restart.

Mount drive from the edge of the box should have be comfortable for him, but once again, he was slow to react as the ball flew past him.

That quick fire blow knocked United’s confidence, as Chelsea looked to squeeze them out of the contest.

Lampard’s side made it three with 15 minutes to go, as the unfortunate Maguire skewed Alonso’s cross into his own net.

And whilst United pulled a consolation goal back through Bruno Fernandes’ late penalty, it’s Chelsea who march on, as United have another big question mark over their No.1.
