Premier League new boys Norwich City have received a big preseason boost as boss Daniel Farke has signed a new four-year contract at the club.

Farke’s previous deal ran until 2022, but with the club looking to show their faith in him, he’s now committed until 2025.

The German coach has proven to hugely popular with Canaries fans following his arrival back in 2017.

Promotion to the top-flight in 2019 was tempered by an immediate relegation back to the Championship last summer.

But the board stuck by him on their relegation and despite losing some key names 12 months ago he led them to a second Championship title back in May.

Farke will be under no illusions over the task in front of him in 2021 as the club look to a avoid a fifth Premier League relegation this century.
