Forgotten Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth is set to complete a summer move to Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig, according to Sky Sports.

Sorloth has failed to have any impact at Selhurst Park, following his arrival in 2017, with loan spells at Gent and Trabzonspor in the last two seasons.

However, his performances away in Turkey have been impressive, ending as the Super Lig’s top scorer last season with 24 goals.

Despite a fantastic showing with Trabzonspor, Palace still want to cut their losses, with Roy Hodgson open to a £5m move.

Leipzig won’t complete the move until next week, with Julian Nagelsmann’s young side focusing on their Champions League semi-final against PSG.
