Crystal Palace will be involved in Premier League broadcasting history.

The Eagles’ game against AFC Bournemouth is set to be the first ever Premier League fixture broadcast live on British terrestrial television.

Premier League football has been suspended since mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic, leaving 92 top flight fixtures yet to be fulfilled.

33 of the 92 matches will reportedly be available to watch free of charge, with The Telegraph claiming Palace’s trip to the Vitality Stadium will be the first ever Premier League game screened live on BBC television.

It’s understood the fixture has been ‘pencilled in for a Saturday night prime-time slot at 7.45pm on June 20.’
