Crystal Palace’s players have been back on the training pitch ahead of a prospective return to Premier League action.

Top flight football in England has been put on hold since March 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic, with any resumption of play likely to be staged behind closed doors.

All 20 Premier League sides unanimously voted in favour of a return to training a fortnight ago, with players and staff agreeing to adhere to strict social distancing regulations.

Some of the strict protocols in place include entering the training ground via a more spacious car park ‘due to its increased capacity to aid with social distancing.’

All training exercises have been limited to non-contact drills, with the focus on trying to bring players closer to match fitness after a long layoff.
