Crystal Palace will be playing Premier League football again next season as they cruised to a 2-0 win over already relegated Sheffield United.

Goals from Jeff Schlupp and Eberechi Eze were enough to clinch the Eagles safety in South London with the Blades beginning to look every inch a Championship side.

Roy Hodgson’s side look determined to get this box ticked right from the start in this tie as Schlupp put them in front inside the first two minutes.

Wilf Zaha’s twisting run and cross found Christian Benteke inside the box and he cushioned off for Schlupp to poke past Aaron Ramsdale.

But despite the bright start, neither side managed to create much before the break as Palace looked ease their way through.

And that pattern continued again after the break until Eze produced a moment of magic to seal the win.

The fans favourite covered 60 yards from inside his own box, jinking and dipping through Blades challenges before casually a brilliant strike past Ramsdale.

The was almost a glimmer of positivity from United in the closing minutes but debutant Daniel Jebbison was denied a dream goal by Vicente Guaita.

Full Time from Selhurst Park it’s Crystal Palace 2 Sheffield United 0
