Philippe Coutinho is definitely interested in a return to the Premier League, according to his agent.

The Brazil international’s representative Kia Joorabchian has revealed his client is keen on a switch back to England.

The 27-year-old made the move from Liverpool to Barcelona for an eye watering £142m in January 2018, signing a five year deal.

Coutinho has failed to live up to expectations at the Camp Nou and joined Bayern Munich on a season long loan deal last summer, but the German champions have reportedly decided against taking up the option to buy him.

The attacking midfielder has been linked to Newcastle United amongst others in recent weeks, although it’s unknown whether Newcastle’s prospective new ownership, a Saudi Arabian backed consortium, will make a move for Coutinho when the transfer window opens.
