Burnley could be in line to secure the signature of Sampdoria midfielder Ronaldo Vieira this summer.

Reports from Football Italia claim that ex-Leeds United man Vieira has been offered a return to English football and could end up at Turf Moor this season.

Former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri is head coach at the Serie A side and is willing to let the 22-year-old leave Sampdoria in order to assist with his rebuild in Genoa.

Tottenham and Leeds are also said to be keeping a close eye on Vieira’s situation, with the Elland Road outfit having cashed in on the player for £6m in 2018.
