Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech may be on his way out of the club after finding opportunities limited under Thomas Tuchel

A player who could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge next summer is winger Hakim Ziyech after enduring a difficult start to life at Chelsea.

The Moroccan was signed by Frank Lampard in 2020 after agreeing a £33.3m fee with Ajax early in the season with a view to join in the summer.

Despite the winger’s quick rise to fame during Ajax’s infamous Champions League campaign which saw the Dutch club reach the semi-finals – only to be dramatically defeated by Tottenham in the dying minutes – Ziyech was a top performer in the talented squad.

The winger made just 23 league appearances in his debut season, scoring just two times and assisting three times.

It is now thought that the Moroccan would be open to a move next summer if his playing time does not improve under Thomas Tuchel, who has fallen behind Kai Havertz and Timo Werner in the pecking order.
