Chelsea’s request to have their trip to Wolves postponed due to Covid-19 cases in the squad was rejected by the Premier League with the Blues held to a 0-0 draw at Molineux.

The West Midlands fog was the main story inside 90 minutes as Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea stuttering side lost even more ground in the title race against Wolves.

It was the hosts who carved out the better chances before the break with Daniel Podence’s strike ruled out and Leander Dendoncker smartly kept out by Edouard Mendy.

Opportunities continued to be few and far between but it was Chelsea who had the best chance to win.

Marcos Alonso’s cushioned ball was gathered in by Christian Pulisic but Jose Sa stood tall to make a crucial stop.

Full Time from Molineux it’s Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
