Chelsea made light work of their FA Cup progress this weekend as the Blues strolled to a 5-1 Third Round win over National League side Chesterfield.

The gap between the two sides was one of the biggest in the Third Round with Thomas Tuchel’s side 4-0 up before the break.

Timo Werner got the balling rolling early on before Callum Hudson-Odoi curled home a superb second.

And the goals continued to rain down before the whistle as Romelu Lukaku and Andreas Christensen ended the contest.

Chelsea did ease off in the second 45, as Hakim Ziyech made it five from the spot, before Akwasi Asante grabbed a late consolation.

Full Time from Stamford Bridge it’s Chelsea 5 Chesterfield 1
