Chelsea fired a message to the Champions League rivals in style last night as Thomas Tuchel’s side thrashed Juventus 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have secured their last 16 place with a game to spare but top spot in Group H set to come down to goal difference next month.

And with the hosts in buoyant mood on the night they took control through Trevor Chalobah’s smart finish.

That set the tone for Chelsea from there as the superb Reece James doubled the advantage before Callum Hudson-Odoi made it three on the hour.

German star Timo Werner came off the bench to grab a fourth in added time and Chelsea will be full of confidence ahead of this weekend’s clash with Manchester United.
