Manager looks to bring in attacking options

It’s been confirmed that Gary Cahill has left Crystal Palace after his contract expired.

The 35-year-old arrived at Selhurst Park in 2019, making a total of 45 appearances and scoring one goal for the Eagles.

Confirmation came via the player’s own social media, though there is no indication as to what he intends to do next.

Manager Patrick Vieira has already added new defenders to the squad and has now turned his attention to the striking options. With less than two weeks to the start of the new season, the Eagles have expressed an interest in possible loan moves for both Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson and RB Leipzig’s Ademola Lookman.
