Burnley defender James Tarkowski looks set to be in the middle of another transfer storm when the January transfer swings open next month.
The England international missed the opening weeks of the Clarets amid constant speculation over a move to Leicester.
The Clarets dug their heels in over that, refusing to accept less than £40m for their star man.
However, as per reports from local outlet Lancashire Live, Burnley are resigned to losing the 28-year old as he enters the final year of his contract.
Tarkowski’s current deal expires in July 2022, but Burnley will be determined to avoid losing him on a free next year and could broker a deal.
The Foxes are likely to renter the race to sign him, at a reduced price, with Manchester United and West Ham also rumoured to be tracking him.
