Charlton Athletic striker Macauley Bonne is interesting Burnley, claim reports.

Bonne was part of the Addicks side who were relegated from the Championship to League One last week, contributing 11 goals this season for the London club.

The 24-year-old has impressed with how easily he’s stepped up, considering he was playing Conference football with Leyton Orient not two seasons ago.

Sean Dyche will be hoping that Bonne can step up once again if he is to make an impact in the Premier League with Burnley, although it will cost the Clarets £1m to secure to striker’s services.

Charlton are currently in a dispute around the ownership of the club, and with murmurings of a potential administration on the cards, they may be tempted to cash in – although the club have claimed that they strive to keep a hold of all of their contracted players.

Burnley aren’t the only club in for Bonne, with Championship sides Derby County, Fulham and Cardiff City all said to be keen.
