Brighton have continued their impressive return to form as Graham Potter side’s won 1-0 at Tottenham.
The Seagulls have looked a different side in 2021 and Leandro Trossard early strike makes it back-to-back defeats for Spurs.
Brighton looked hungry for this from the word go as Pascal Gross deftly clipped against the post.
And the early pressure from the hosts was quickly rewarded after that as Trossard emphatically swept home Gross’ pass.
Potter’s side continued to carry the greater threat before the break as Gareth Bale was forced to clear Lewis Dunk’s smart header.
And with Jose Mourinho’s visitors unable to make any inroads after restart, Ben White forced a vital stop from Hugo Lloris.
Tottenham did almost snatch an underserved equaliser with ten minutes but Robert Sanchez made a sprawling save from Carlos Vinicius before Toby Alderweireld produced a fantastic block to deny Aaron Connolly.
