Brighton have issued a hands-off warning to interested Premier League clubs over highly rated defender Ben White.

White excelled on loan at newly promoted Leeds United last season, and despite Marcelo Bielsa’s initial optimism over a permanent deal, he has now returned to Brighton.

Reports from the BBC claim Graham Potter is all to aware of the growing interest in White, with the Seagulls already rejecting a £30m offer from Leeds.

Defending champions Liverpool are also tracking the 22-year old, following the departure of Dejan Lovren last month.

However, the Reds have shown they will not have their arm twisted in transfer negotiations, particularly if Brighton demand a huge fee for White.
