Brighton have kept up their impressive habit of late comebacks this weekend as the Seagulls secured a 1-1 draw away at Leicester.
Graham Potter’s Brighton side have scored more than 50% of the goals in 2022 after the 85-minute mark and another late show sealed a point at the Foxes.
Leicester did look busy from the start in this however as James Maddison and Ademola Lookman both tested Robert Sanchez.
But the Foxes frustration lasted just seconds after the restart as some pinball in the Brighton box was eventually blasted home by Patson Daka.
However, Potter had a card up his sleeve late on as the evergreen Danny Welbeck tipped it for Brighton.
The former England star was superbly kept out by Kasper Schmeichel just after coming on but he wasn’t to be denied as second time as flicked home Neal Maupay’s cross.
Full Time from the King Power Stadium it’s Leicester City 1 Brighton 1
