Brighton left back George Cox is set to sign for Dutch side Fortuna Sittard.

Cox has spent the season on loan at the Eredivisie outfit, making 21 appearances in the Dutch top flight before its cancellation due to coronavirus.

Now, local newspaper De Limburger are reporting Cox is set to convert his loan move in to a permanent one.

The deal will for the Englishman will cost Sittard a reported €50,000.
22-year-old Cox never made a league appearance for the Seagulls.
