Burnley’s wait for a Premier League win this season rumbles on as Sean Dyche’s side clung on for 0-0 draw at Brighton.

On a night of few chances on the south coast, Brighton can count themselves unlucky not to nick a win, whilst Burnley struggles continue.

The Seagulls were on top from the start in this one, as Tariq Lamptey’s effort just cleared the bar and Nick Pope denied Danny Welbeck.

Burnley did carve out one first chance, albeit with a huge slice of luck, as Matt Lowton’s deflected cross crept past Mat Ryan.

But the crossbar was to save the Australian’s blushes before the break.

Graham Potter’s side maintained the momentum after the restart as the hosts pushed for a breakthrough.

But it wasn’t to be the Seagulls night, as Mike Dean waved away two penalty shouts, and Neil Maupay wasted a late chance to win it.

Full Time on a low-key night at the AMEX Stadium it’s Brighton 0 Burnley 0
