Brighton were forced into extra time in their FA Cup Third Round tie this weekend as Graham Potter’s side eventually edged out a 2-1 win over West Brom.

Neither Brighton or West Brom created much in the opening 45 but the Baggies found themselves 1-0 up just seconds after the restart.

Karlan Grant’s driving run cut though the Brighton rear guard and Callum Robinson scrambled the hosts in front.

But, after Cedric Kipre was sent off late on, the tie did begin to tip for Brighton.

Substitute pair Evan Ferguson and Jakub Moder linked up superbly to force extra time before star man Neal Maupay sealed it for Potter.
