The latest form table since fans were shut out of Premier League grounds makes for grim reading for Sheffield United fans.
Since football supporters have been forbidden to watch their team inside stadia, Sheffield United’s form has suffered drastically with the Blades winning just 3 of the last 17 top flight matches behind-closed-doors.
In fact, Chris Wilder’s side have amassed just 12 points in that time, the lowest in the Premier League, averaging just 0.71 points-per-game.
The absence of the Bramall Lane crowd is undoubtedly affecting Sheffield United more than most, particularly when contrasted with last season where the Blades were 7th in the table heading in to the nationwide lockdown in March.
This is a viewpoint shared by manager Chris Wilder, who will be well aware of the behind-closed-doors Premier League table with his side still searching for their first league win of the 2020/21 season.
