The Sun are reporting that Sheffield United are preparing to bid £17million for Liverpool's hotly rated young striker Rhian Brewster.

The England U21 star is looking for a move away from Anfield to find first team football and continue his development and would be allowed to move for a relatively small fee with the Blades agreeing to the Mersysiders £40million buy-back clause.

Sheffiled United have kicked off thier Premier League campagin without scoring a single goal and Chris Wilde is desperate to add more firepower to his team ahead of the transfer window closing on Monday.

Crystal Palace are also said to be interested in the player but are unwilling to agree to Liverpool’s buy-back demands.

The Blades are also looking at Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca who they believe could be available for as little at £9million.

The 23-year-old has a £40million release clause in his contract but the Spanish club are looking to off-lo ad following their releation from La Liga last season. They will face competiton from Atheltico Madrid however who are favourites to land the player as a potential replacemnt for Thomas Partey who is currenlty linked with a move to team up with fellow countryman Mikael Arteta at Arsenal.
