Leroy Sane will leave Manchester City for Bayern Munich.

It’s understood a deal agreed to be worth €60m (£54.8m) has been agreed for the City winger to switch to the German champions.

The breakdown is believed to be €49m upfront, plus €11m in add-ons.

The 24-year-old German joined arrived at the Etihad Stadium from Schalke in 2016.

Just over a week ago, City boss Pep Guardiola revealed that Sane had rejected numerous offers of a new contract, and did want to move.

It’s understood Bayern, who have long been linked with the player, will be paying €22m in annual wages, which is double what City were offering.

Sane only made his first appearance of the season last week when he came off the bench against Burnley – he’s been recovering from knee ligament damage sustained in the Community Shield clash with Liverpool last August.

Reports also suggest that Manchester City have a 10% sell on fee.
