Arsenal have kept alive their chances of securing a Europa League spot as they nicked a dramatic 3-3 draw at West Ham.
David Moyes side overpowered the Gunners in the opening 45 minutes, as Michail Antonio and Jesse Lingard ran riot, but the visitors incredibly snuck back into it in a topsy-turvy clash in East London.
The home side were on top from the start in this one as Moyes’ in form team buried an early double.
Antonio’s pace took him clean away from two Arsenal tackles out wide and his low cross was expertly steered home by Lingard.
And the Manchester United loanee then turned provider just 60 seconds later, as his quick free kick caught the Arsenal back line AWOL, and Jarrod Bowen forced past Bernd Leno.
The Hammers smelt blood from there on, as Tomas Soucek poked home Antonio’s flick on to make it 3-0, before the Czech star deflected home an own goal at the other end.
Mikel Arteta’s side did try to force the issue after the break as Issa Diop brilliantly cleared away Alexandre Lacazette’s effort.
And the Gunners continued to live a charmed life late on as West Ham conceded a second own goal when Craig Dawson skewed home Calum Chambers’ cross.
But when the wind is blowing in you direction you’ll take any chance you get and Lacazette finally snatched late late point.
Nicolas Pepe hung a fine cross into the and the Frenchman bulleted past Lukasz Fabianksi.
