Arsenal have finally completed the sale of Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Serie A giants Roma.
Mkhitaryan did enjoy a successful spell on loan in Rome last year, but the Italian club were unwilling to pay his £15m purchase clause.
However, after over a month of talks with the Gunners, the two clubs have now agreed a deal for £12m, as part of a two-year deal with the former Manchester United man.
Mkhitaryan joined Arsenal as part of the deal which took Alexis Sanchez to Old Trafford back in 2018.
But despite some positive early signs at the Emirates, a grand total of eight goals in two years means that few Arsenal fans will be sad to see him go.
