Arsenal signed off on the 2021/22 Premier League season with an impressive 5-1 win at home to Everton on the final day.
With their Top Four chances effectively over before kick-off, Mikel Arteta’s Young Arsenal side looked determined to end the campaign on a high against Everton.
And as the result suggests, it was one-way traffic from the off in North London as Gabriel Martinelli slammed home from the penalty spot.
That opened the contest up at both ends before the break as Eddie Nketiah nodded home and Donny van de Beek stabbed home for the Blues.
But it was to turn into a procession for Arsenal in the second 45 as Cedric Soares cannoned home a third.
Gabriel Magalhaes then popped up to fire home his fifth goal of the campaign before Martin Odegaard rolled home to wrap it up for Arteta.
Full Time from the Emirates Stadium it’s Arsenal 5 Everton 1
