Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes is refusing to put pen to paper on a new Old Trafford deal.

Sources suggest that the 19-year-old is becoming increasingly unlikely to do so, having already rejected a contract extension this season.

Gomes is out of contract in the summer and has been free to open talks with other clubs since January.

The likes of Chelsea and Barcelona have been linked with the United academy graduate, with the La Liga club said to have tracked him for over a year.

Reports claim 'underwhelming' offers from Manchester United is the reason for Gomes' reluctance to sign fresh terms.

The player is represented by his father, Gil Gomes.
